A beautiful church that helped me grow in my faith. I know some may not have cared for the height of its high service some time ago. I will say this for it though. Out of all the episcopal churches I visited there was something so reverent and decent about the way in which they performed there service that I truly believe it opened my heart and spirt to be more fully moved by Christ. Although it isn't necessary in all likelihood to prostrate one self and tinkle bells there was something so inherently correct about it that I can only describe my being apart of it for a short while as providence.
I am so grateful to be able to experience again the fullness of our historic Anglican worship in the sacredness of a quiet and non-ultra-high church modality . Smells and bells are not necessary for this comfortable expression of Calvary's historic and gentle Protestant Episcopal worship tradition.
This is a beautiful church with a great Choir singing traditional repertoire. Congregation is faithful, committed and welcoming to all and believes in connecting with the neighborhood.
