We only bought three items, mind you the meat was $7.99/pound and the bacon $8.99/pound, but I’m a big fan of quality food. The express line had no one waiting so we decided to checkout there. The young customer service lady never said one word to me or my daughter. Didn’t say hello, didn’t say anything. At the end of the transaction, my 12 year old daughter said “do we leave the small shopping basket up here?” Considering the young lady never said anything and the fact I didn’t know where they go, I responded “yes, I guess.” We started to exit and the Whole Foods employee said extremely rude and condescending, “no, you need to take and put the basket back.” I was astonished by her tone and attitude. I looked at my daughter and said let’s go after feeling humiliated. She then asked “what did you say to me?”
Great store with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Whole Foods Is a fantastic location whether you are looking for health food, groceries, natural makeup and cosmetics, supplements and personal care, or even a place to eat at for date night! Their hot bar and pizza are both fantastic and my husband and I eat here often. Plus the bakery is always filled with tantalizing treats.
Just like all other whole foods they have awesome products. However it is a smaller store than what I'm used to, but it does make my trip easier with three kids. I normally go there for the bakery. I love their cakes they taste so real with no artificial flavors I usually pay 20 to 60 dollars for a birthday cake.
Fresh produce. Some wild fresh seafood, but mostly farmed or previously frozen. Hot foods bar and salad bar are nice- especially Meatless Mondays. Bakery beautiful but not gluten free much. Cheese shop is crazy. Cooking/nutrition classes. Eat-in area. Beer. Coffee. Free water...lol. aisles in center of store mostly overpriced...but everyone knows this by now.
My wife and I usually shop at the Fresh Market off Shelbyville Road due to proximity from residence and product quality.
As for the employees they are all friendly and readily available to assist you at any time.
Good selection. Still little pricey even though Amazon keeps slashing prices. Soup bar is great, turkey chili and chicken gumbo were delicious. They also sell hot entrees and have great salad bar.
By far, worst experience I’ve ever had. Last time I will step foot in a Whole Foods Store. If your customers are willing to pay an above market price for product, you better nail the customer service as well!
On my way home today from an event with my 12 year old daughter in Saint Matthews, we decided to stop by Whole Foods to grab dinner. This was the first time I’ve ever been in Whole Foods. We ended up getting grass fed burger meat and maple bacon.
