Enjoyed our visit to the Portland Museum on the Louisville Cultural Pass. Very in-depth history of Portland and how it related to the Ohio River and Louisville. There are many fascinating stories to be heard here. The old house which is part of the museum is also rich with history. Well worth spending a couple of hours or more here. Don't miss the newsreels of the 1936 flood, either!
Great hospitality. We enjoyed on the art fair tour, loved printing press experience. Wish it was open on the weekends!
It was interesting. Your tour guide was lights and sounds and it kept my little one interested. My favorite was the animated Mary Miller.
It's a good place to learn about Portland neighborhood. Educational, and the workers are polite. Portland is what built this city.
Very interesting local history museum. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
