A wonderful community of compassion where all are welcome. No need to be buddhist at all. I particularly love the wednesday night meditations although I think a little instruction at the beginning for new comers would go a long way, particularly to remain still, don't leave during the meditation and not to fall asleep.
I encourage everybody to visit this center. A warm welcoming space. Doesn't matter what faith or religion you practice. This is a place to share your experience of life and join in meditation and reflection. This place has a big heart.
Life changing classes and instruction. A wealth of information for Tibetan study by the kindest Monks you may ever meet. A center for interfaith activities and Retreat rooms are available. Walking through their doors was like spiritually coming home.
I love this center. They have weekly teachings led by the monks. I always feel serene & calm when visiting. It is a sacred place with many wonderful events. The monks are so kind & caring, too.
Definitely a place to check out if your stopping by the area! I got to see then making and destroying a sand mandala, and afterwards they had dinner, you have to pay for the momos but they taste amazing! (even the vegetarian ones)
They don't always do these events but you can still check it out when they are not having one!
