We went and saw Dracula in September 2017. It was really amazing. We loved the show. Can't wait to see it again next year. Location of the theater is great, as is the parking garage. You can buy your parking pass in advance for a discount at Actors Theater's website. Plenty of good food just a short walk away. Eventually I think we will get one of the season passes.

There are 3 different areas for plays. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. There are no bad seats. You feel you are right there with the actors. They have great selections of plays.

We are so lucky to have such an esteemed regional theatre in Louisville. My partner works for them part-time (full disclosure), and we attend many of their wonderful productions. The Humana Festival of New Plays is held every spring, which is one of the premiere tickets for theatre fans from around the world. Don't miss the wonderful opportunity to visit this memorable theatre!

Saw the "Santaland Diaries" with my husband... couldn't stop laughing! Will definitely be back for more...it was one of my better Christmas gifts this year (for my husband), and it was a hoot!

We saw A Christmas Carol on 12/23/2017. We had some problems. We went and ended up really happy about the play. The actors were wonderful. They did a great job with everything. The actors were the best part of the whole experience. They used their skills in other areas in their life to put on a play. I wish I could leave the review on the actors alone. They would get 5 stars the whole way around. Now, the problems. The seat I was sitting in was small for someone of my stature. I am 6'4" and slim. I had a hard time fitting between me and the person to my left who was also doing her best to stay away from me just as I was her. I understand we were at a family play. There were kids everywhere. The whole theater of kids and family were good except the grandma and the two kids behind us. They just would not stop talking. The kids were kicking the back of our seat from the second they came in. We had to say something to them and so did the people sitting next to us. We expected an usher to come and ask them to stop being so loud but it never happened. The man next to us had a lot of patience. We had to say something to the kids before the play even started. At the intermission, the man turned to them and very kindly asked "When the play starts again, could you stop kicking our seats?" The kicking of our seats was cut in half and they continued to talk through even the most quiet of times. I missed most of what the Ghost of Christmas Present had to say. The actor was doing such a good job and I was hanging on his every word and then the grandma started to explain to the children that kicking people's seat scares them and they need to "try" not to do it. Not only did she not explain that kicking the seats was rude, she acted like it was ok to talk during the play. There were several kids in the play that sat there completely quiet. I know the theater can't screen people before the tickets are sold but we did definitely expect someone to come tell them to be quiet. We were basically at the point of the next thing we say to them was going to have to be rude and all we wanted to do was enjoy the happy feelings the play inspired. To get up in the middle of the play and do anything is rude in my eyes. I was stuck in my seat, in the middle of my row, and couldn't even go ask someone to do anything about it.
