Really tasty Cuban food! Nothing like the usual Mexican fare. So much depth of flavor. $5 Drink specials on Sunday. The "Swirl Margarita" is so much more than a traditional frozen drink. They literally swirl red sangria into a lime margarita. And the drinks have REAL flavor; they're NOT weak or watered down. They start you off with a loaf of crusty bread and compound butter bursting with garlicy goodness. We'll definitely be back when we return to Louisville!
Food was good... not quite worth the $14 for one meal that I got. I ordered chicken, rice, and plantains. I got 2 plantains and a scoop of rice. What a joke. Anyways, the flavor wad good. Service, not so much. Husband went to order his food and the server rang my to go order up and didn't even let him order his. When mentioned, the man was very rushy and huffy. Hubs just decided he didn't want to order. So much for our lunch date.
Great food. I got a cubano and was not disappointed at all. Food came out quickly and I had excellent service. 10/10 would recommend
We went to the location in Shelbyville few months ago and was Superb. Today was poor, not the same menu offerings, poor food taste, hard to believe in a Cuban restaurant. We drove 1 hour and 15 minutes for another great and are leaving heartbreaking. Will never come back
I already love Havana Rumba but hadn't been to this location yet. It maintains the fun and friendly atmosphere of the other locations but being in the Highlands area, has a bit of more eclectic crowd. The bartender Alexander was so much fun!!!
