3. There are multiple pieces to the fountain and the "hand-applied" finishes did not match each other. The basin, which weighs 500 lbs, is of a totally different color from the other pieces, which was very clear to see. The finial is darker than the bowl, and the bowl is darker than the basin, and the connector pieces are still a different shade. All could be considered "travertine" but they look as if they were finished by different people at different times and then just put together without regard to match. Huge disappointment. We sent pics to the owner and he acknowledged the difference and said they would send us some of the finish so we could apply it ourselves to make it match. They did not send the finish, but instead sent a glass jar of epoxy and some powdered acrylic to mix for repairs, but not the needed travertine finish. And now I am faced with applying finish myself to try to make it match. It does not seem reasonable to ask the paying customer to fix the product for which they paid almost one thousand dollars. I just hope I can do it right. The company should offer to send someone to my home to do it.

Wish I could give -0 stars. Company is moving but not movated to sell. Owner is very rude and snobish. " people in Louisville are too poor and cheap, they can't afford me" His priceing is way out of line, check Home Depot and Lowe's. Never e-mail the estimate for a small reflection pool.

Sales reps are helpful and extremely pleasant. Very fair prices. Will give 5 stars if product is tyhe quality I believe it will be.

Buyers should be aware that for a large fountain, you will have to hire a forklift to set up the pieces, especially heavy basin or base, as delivery includes only "curbside" delivery with no help. You then have to orchestrate a four hour delivery window between a forklift, its operator, and the delivery man. Our delivery barely made it in the window - right at the last minute.

Overall, there were too many mistakes with this order to give a rating higher than 2 stars. I would be happy to post a follow up or edit if Pond and Fountain World makes sure that, by springtime, my fountain pieces all match.

2. The finial came in the truck unpacked - loose, no box or crate - so when the truck was opened after hundreds of miles of travel, it fell out and broke. The other components were nicely packed. We explained this and they sent another free of charge.

Purchased a fountain, pool, and pump from Paul Peterson on March 31, 2017 for $2950. Was told I should expect shipment by first of March. As of March 15, have received nothing and can get no input from Mr. Peterson about when delivery should be expected, or even an estimated time of arrival. His failure to respond to my repeated requests for this information has undercut my trust and confidence in this company. I shared this with him and he had no comment.

1. The bookkeeper there billed my husband's credit card twice. They acknowledged this and got it refunded, but that was just the first of several mistakes.

We ordered the borghese fountain with basin in travertine finish. The owner of the company was very helpful to deal with, however, we experienced several issues with the transaction. Here they are:

I ordered the easy pro Vianti kit. It was as described and very complete. I added the fire kit and it looks incredible. The only challenge that I experienced is that the float switch was broken. I will work with the team at Pond and Fountain world and I'm certain they'll be helpful.

It was getting too cold to operate the fountain when we got it so we haven't seen it in action in order to comment on mechanics.
