Employees? Best team around. Even in the worst of times, they smile and keep serving customers. I am there at least once a week, sometimes more. Don't get me wrong, I have tried others but, none compare. Good weather and bad, slow days and premieres. Power outage? Turn everything back on and keep going. Call ins? Double up and keep smiling. Dirty theatres? Clean them and be ready for the next group. Rude customer curses at you? Smile and tell them to have a nice day.
I just got home from a wonderful experience with my lovely wife. We kinda arrived close to movie start time and saw a long line but the line disappeared quite quickly. We enjoyed the movie in style with a clean atmosphere and comfy chairs. The sound effects were great! I will return for future date nights with my wife.
The theater itself was fine. Seats were standard, but in decent shape. The audio was a little loud for our IMAX movie, but other than that, it was a nice experience with good audio/video quality.
When it comes to food items, they have some interesting menu items like a Chicken & Waffle sandwich meal, but the prices are as exorbitant as you would expect at a movie theater. But kudos for giving some variety. They use Coke Freestyle soft drink machines, but only one of them was working next to the main counter. I believe the ones in the other main hallway were working though. I do really like how they separated the popcorn counter. Great idea.
This theater has some nice things going for it, if they were all working correctly.
Simply put, the best theatre in town. Bar none.
Prices? Go during matinee or Tues and it's $50 for a family of 4 to get in with sodas and popcorn for all. Cheap? No, but it's not 1950 so, about the same as elsewhere. 20 screens (largest around), freestyle soda machines (oodles of flavors), large food menu beyond popcorn and candy, fantastic staff, clean theatres, newest movies, fair prices, wonderful rewards system, what else do you need?
It was also nice to have bathrooms in the theater hallways so you didn't have to walk back up front. And the bathrooms were clean.
I love their Tuesday concession deals, they have great mid day deals on tickets, lots of screens, comfy seats, and they are usually very clean. I don't like that they have assigned seating (That's becoming more the norm I've noticed.) it doesn't allow me to just decide to go see a movie on a whim like it used to.
The theater is clean, and has an overall family friendly atmosphere! My only complaint would be the understaffing at peak times. The stubs program is a nice work around this, however it doesn't work out that way when there are only 3-4 people working at one time. Especially when 2 people are needed to prep the food. Sound quality is pretty epic, so maybe be careful with younger ears if you're squeamish about hearing damage. For the big kids, yes they have a bar! To the right of the bar there is another set of bathrooms, no need to have an after party in the ones right outside of the movies.
