A little over a mile from one side to the other (then a mile back over). Beautiful views. Would make a great date or proposal spot. Swings along the bottom on the KY side. Neat little shops/eateries on the IN side. Love it!

Easy access across the river. On the Louisville side there is a great park with Splash Zone in the summer and new structures being built currently period on Jeffersonville side there is an Amphitheater, ice cream shop, and pizza place. The rest of downtown's main drag is just a block or two away

I enjoy time with family and friends visiting the bridge. The overall experience is positive. We always go during the day and it seems quite family friendly. Driving across the nearby bridges at night are made more beautiful by the amazing lighting on the walking bridge. I love the rainbow effects. I do not like that it gets inaccessible during Thunder over Louisville. I got stuck on the Jeffersonville side and had to find a way back over to family in Louisville with my then four year old son. On a more serious note- I have heard of a few incidents of violence and even a deadly shooting near the entrance this year. Crowds of hundreds gather and dozens of police try to maintain control. There have also been memorials and peaceful protests held there.

Great views we'll kept, we wanted to bring our dog

It's honestly a great place to go. For younger adults such as myself, staying out late might be common which could pose a problem since the bridge closes at 11 PM. Other than that, I find no problems. Everyone there is friendly and you'll fine great music and food everywhere. It's a great place to connect with your friends or your significant other. You set the mood and the bridge will do its part whether that be a romantic view or just a nice place to goof around with your friends.

This is a wheelchair friendly place. It is a long accent but worth the trip.
