Eva Bandman's cyclocros venue provides challenge terrain for training and racing, hosts races in the Ohio Valley Cyclocross Series, and was home to the UCI World Cyclocross Championships in 2013 (which had never been held outside of Europe before). It also appears to be a hotspot for local sport fishermen; every time I've been down there, I've seen at least two or three.
It's nice out in open and quieter than usual it's nice and peaceful
Great to have a dedicated cyclocross park in Louisville, KY.
The park's one major drawback is that its flood-prone location can render it inaccessible during the spring or after heavy rains.
Nice, basic, quiet park. (as long as there isn't a cylclocross race going on, lol) You can park right next to the river and fish, or just relax.
Great venue for Cyclocross racing. Each year the course gets better and more refined. Papa Johns is the Major sponsor for the event and usually participates by dressing up in costumes. This is a lot of fun.
