We moved here from Colorado and needed a good place to buy roaches and crickets from for out bearded dragon. There are only 2 exotic pet stores in Kentucky and this one was far better priced than the other store. The staff was amazing and friendly and you can tell they love their pets. We bought a dog from them just because of how reasonable the prices were on the puppies and how well cared for they were. Our new puppy is almost house broken due to their care and attention. I am now a loyal customer for life.
Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to buy a new pet. Went in to check out some of the lizards and left with a baby Savannah Monitor and two Dwarf Hamsters. Huge selection of exotic animals and fish. They have all the supplies you'd need and very knowledgeable workers. They were willing and able to answer all of the questions we had about any of their animals.
I disagree with the other reviews saying everything is overpriced. The animals there were VERY cheap and reasonably priced. I saw no bad conditions for any of their animals and everything looked very well cared for.
Our new pets are super active and are perfectly healthy.
This place is garbage they have a sick beagle puppy in the back. skin and bones.... having every Tom dick and harry just have access to these cages of animals where people can just touch all over them.... I can assure you I will not be back! Puppies and kittens should not be sold in a pet store it’s unhealthy for them spreading Diseases and what ever else.. this place should be shut down
They have a good selection of things yeah. But it's really upsetting that they house their unfixed female and male rats together in a much too small space. the girls i did want to get i held and put my hand in to see if they were friendly and they were all terrified plus had polyphorin around their noses and obvious respiratory infections just from holding them you could tell their breathing was off.
I have mixed feelings about pet palace. The staff has been great from my experiances with them. They were very informative, and willing to help. The selection was great. They have everything you need, especially their reptiles. Unfortunately they have something I didn't need and that was snake mites. My snake (not purchased there) has been healthy mite free until I purchases a wooden hide from there. Within days I was noticing mites on my snake. Also noticed them on a few snakes myself in the store. I'm not going to write them off as a bad place, but they need to get the mite situation under control before I can bring my business back to there.
