Every show I've been I have loved here! Facilities are clean, people are helpful, drinks have been decent before the shows start.
Our nonprofit organization helped out for an event at this venue. Wonderful place for big group events! I've also taken my wife and children here for different shows, and it's always been a great, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend you take in a show!
Saw “The Grinch” here the first weekend of December 2017, and it was AMAZING. Very friendly and helpful staff. They also have Louisville Metro PD working there as security, so it felt safe even for two out-of-town folks who had never been to Louisville before. They do have ample parking in a nearby garage, but it is a short walk back to the Center from there. They also have a “SCENE” restaurant that is inside the Center which offers a trendy bar/restaurant which, while a bit pricy, was a very cool place to hang out before and after the show without having to walk all around downtown. Will definitely return!
Saw The Nutcracker. Enjoyed tremendously. Not overly crowded but everyone was seated closely in same row, with lots of empty seats/rows in front and behind us.!??
Definitely a great destination whether you're a local or visiting! I suggest picking up tickets at the box office or donating to become a member to waive any fees.
Beautiful theatre. Touring productions of Broadway shows, major concert venue. Also smaller theatre on 2nd floor for community productions. Cool sculpture. Open design.
