If you want to get into Manual, this is definitely the school for you. If you don’t? You should probably look around vbefore making a final decision.
Some teachers are great, some are awful, and some are just.. indescribable. My favorite teacher of all time (Mrs. Klein) did come from here, though. If you get Mrs. Klein for LA in 6th grade, you’re gonna have a great year.
The best teachers on the surface of this earth. If you get Ms. Mastronicola, consider yourself one of the luckiest people ever.
I just feel it's really dumb and unnecessary for students to be forced not to use the restroom.
I loved it, but it did have its strengths and minus points. The reason for the four stars is the bathroom policy.
I had a great experience at Meyzeek I was able to make some great friends. And I had some great teachers who were very nice and cared about every student in their classes. If you think some teachers may hate you they really dont they just want to see you succeed and become a great adult. Also the work there is really challenging sometimes but it helped prepare me for high school. So I was able to have a smooth transition and I was already used to the work load by then. All in all I really miss going to Meyzeek and wish I could go back.
P.S. Mr. Chapman and Mrs. Wilson are the best teachers at Meyzeek!
Education is what these children get. My grandson has improved almost to 95%. Amen!!!!!!!
Overall, this school wasn’t really a fit for me, looking back on it. As of now, I’ve been here for almost my full 3 years, and let’s just face it now—the only reason anyone comes here is to get into Manual. And that’s great and all, but then you realize getting into Manual is dealing with the level of chance on par with getting struck by lightning.
As for the cleanliness of the school, it’s split into two buildings. One of them was the original from 1967, and the other was a renovation done several years later. Let’s just say, you can tell which one is the new building and which is the old. I’ve been lucky to only have one class in the old building, though.
