The venue is wonderful. Amazing architecture. Plenty of parking garages surrounding the place. The event I attended had ticket pickup at the box office only. Just one little door for the little box office room. Lots of people trying to get in and out and then had to get in line again to get in the venue. Thought that was a little silly to be almost late for the show when I showed up so early
Beautiful venue! It's not often you get to sit in a meticulously refurbished theater from the 1920s. Parking can be a little tricky though. Plan on walking a few blocks. But it will be worth it.
The Palace is an incredible venue. It was a little chilly inside throughout the evening (but then it was like 0 degrees outside!). Love the acoustics there.
A fight broke out between two intoxicated men in the aisle right in front of my family who were attending a St. Paul and the Broken Bones concert. I ran into the lobby repeatedly calling for security. Nobody responded for at least 5 minutes. People were moving quickly out the door and still, no security. When the fight was finally broken up, I asked the security officer what took so long and he said there weren't enough officers for the size of the crowd. I understand things like this can happen on New Year's Eve, but the Palace should be prepared to keep people safe Also, to echo another review, there was no toilet paper in most of the stalls in the women's bathroom. Tickets to see events at the Palace are not inexpensive. These issues need to be addressed.
I usually love the Palace, but last night was an exception.
nice theatre but they need to stock the women's restroom, there was no toilet paper and few paper towels on a big concert night. They should know better!
