"You don't get a second chance to make a first impression" and my first experience was exemplary. Kudos to Dr. Schaffer, Erica, and staff.
Outstanding care and service, one of the best health care facilities I've ever visited. Dr. Pedersen took as much time as we needed for questions and examination -- an excellent listener, very patient and concerned, he did the extra research to find out more about what could be done even though it was not his area of expertise. His office staff are also exceptional -- they answer the phones and promptly transfer with minimal hold times and follow-up calls if someone is unavailable. The effort put into helping us resolve our medical and administrative issues was above and beyond my expectations and experiences. I can't recommend this office highly enough.
Dr. Patel took a very personal approach to my treatment. I was very impressed with the high level of care he provided. On a check up after my surgery Dr. Patel again made me aware that I was to call him personally if I needed anything. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with Dr. Patel. If you are in need of foot or ankle care do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Patel.
Dr. Ross and Dr. Schaffer were 100% professional and effective in their treatment. I wouldn't take my feet anywhere else. They quickly diagnosed fractures that were missed by the ER. Dr. Ross was my surgeon for two operations and I couldn't be happier with the result. I felt Dr. Ross and his staff genuinely cared about my condition and took a personal stake in seeing to my recovery.
The front desk was rude. I came in with my 91 year old mother at 9:40am for our 10am appointment. The front desk clerk, Abby, didn't greet me professionally. The first words out of her mouth was asking for the patient's name and after I told her, she scolded me like a child for not being there at exactly 9:30am. I told her I did the best that I could and she responded curtly, "You are going to have to fill the paperwork quickly". No smiles, no good morning, no pleasantries at all. I finished the paperwork by 10.05am. 10:35am I went up to the desk and asked when my mother would be seen, and was treated with disrespect. I defended myself and was met with continued rudeness. Finally, my mother was seen by Dr. Kim. The nurse and Dr. Kim made the visit a pleasant one. I was told to make an appointment for 3 months from now. When I got to the front desk, Abby refused to have anything to do with me and no one made another appointment for us. I take it personally that I am not welcome there by Abby and the rest of the front desk. I don't know these people, it was our first visit, so I just don't see why I was treated so terribly for being there 20 minutes early instead of 30 minutes early. The doctor and nurse were fantastic, but the front desk made our first visit so miserable that we might not go back and seeing as they refused to give me another appointment, I guess they won't let us go back.
