Great pizza! Been looking for good pizza a long time. Finally! Service is fat. We always get take out since we live close.
Service and staff are great. Very casual and friendly environment. Pizza is good and fairly priced, $2.50/ slice. Not my favorite pizza I've eaten, but that doesn't stop us from eating here monthly.
There are two major differences between their pizza and most local pizza. They bake at a higher temp in a stone oven, giving a crispier crust like Italian bread and well melted gooey cheese. The other is a thinner crust, thicker than a pita, thinner than sandwich bread, great for folding.
Lots of places advertise that they have New York style pizza but don't actually have authentic New York style pizza. This place does. Very good NY Style Pizza(pies are 18 inches) and the garlic knots are also amazing. I can not recommend this place enough.
Old School New York Pizza is the best pizza joint in this state. I love going the staff are incredibly friendly, the owner remembers us, it flipping phenomenal!!! I encourage anyone seeking a white pie go check it out, though all they're food is the bomb. The garlic knots, mmm.
I love it. Moved to Louisville from NYS and it's great to have a taste from home. The staff is friendly and service is prompt.
