We discovered Mark's Feed Store has a Sunday buffet. Buffet includes fantastic fried fish, pork chops, thick sliced brisket, pulled pork, plus sides, deserts and your drink! All included in one price! This is our new after church favorite.
Service was good, food was good as well. My girlfriends sweet potato fries were a little cold. Other then that a decent little visit.
Brisket dinner and 2 sides. Each served in a paper tray on a tissue covered metal tray. The fried corn, very good, worked in the tray. The loaded baked potato was a little difficult to manage , the 2 1/2 slices of 1/4 inch thick brisket, while tender, were next to impossible to cut up in the paper tray. Next time I will ask for a paper plate. Dinner for 2 and water was $28.
Love this place, even had them cater my wedding a month ago. Always clean inside and the staff is super friendly. Best barbecue from a chain in louisville hands down. Sundays lunch buffet is always amazing. They have brisket, pork, chicken, fish and all their wonderful sides. Plus my wifes favorite buttermilk pie. She always wants their pie instead of birthday cake every year. If you want great barbecue and generous portions this is the place to get it.
Service was pretty good but food was just okay. Salad with pulled chicken was good. Pulled pork sandwich just okay. Onion strings too greasy to eat. Kids meal chicken fingers were awful. Worst chicken fingers I have ever tasted. My son took one bite and refused to eat them. Also, not sure why they put the spicy seasoning on kids meal French fries...too spicy for my 6yr old. Won't be going back.
