Great store for the comics novice to avid collector. I started going to the Zone when my daughter became interested in Wonder Woman. I had never been in a comic book store and was very nervous to admit that I had no idea what I was really looking for! But from the minute I walked in the employees were friendly and understanding. The owner answered my questions and helped me find age appropriate items for my girls. We've gone there ever since! They have a great selection and are always happy to order anything special you might be looking for (so long as it's still in print). Looking for something new? They always have suggestions and advice. They also have a great selection of toys and frequently keep better stock of popular toys (i.e. Star Wars and Marvel characters) than the big box stores.
Great selection of comics, toys and some card games. Easy process for subscribing to your fav monthly comic. Many sought after issues surround the store, or you can pick up some issues from the shelves. I always enjoy coming here.
Convenient location! I ran into Kroger with the family and when leaving I decided to treat the kids. This was the first time I have visited this store and was impressed at how clean, organized, friendly everyone was! I enjoy bookstores thoroughly and this ranks as one of the most inviting and warm (not a 'chain' store) places to visit. Will visit again!
Always friendly when you first enter the shop, has a great selection of new comics and the other side has a great selections of omnibus and event collection type comics. And in the middle there is a large section for discount used comics, collectibles and toys, and there is a section for new collectibles and toys as well.
I have never felt uncomfortable having my kids in the store (no inappropriate language or topics). In fact, the staff always makes sure to greet my kids too, not just the adults.
Was just there, they have tons of comics and figures but sadly all the figures that are open are not for sale. Whole reason I went to there store. Other the. That they have a lot of modern day figures for a few dollars more then what you buy in stores. I may just stick to eBay.
