To be clear I am not on any government assistance. My husband and I pay a hefty amount for insurance just to be treated poorly. I have been having problems breathing for over a month and wanted to get a check up. So when it came time to actually see a doctor I couldn't get in for over three weeks (thanks Obama Care). Well today was supposed to be my appointment and they would not accept my insurance because they will not accept Norton + Just for Kids HMO starting next month, October 26, 2014.
Been seeing Nanine for 21yrs., I've got nothing but Great things to say about her. The staff is also very helpful and caring. They've really helped me threw the years after my Motorcycle wreck.
They do their job right and the Drs are compassionate.
Dr Henderson is... she is warmth, love, and healing. She is a force powerful like the wind. She is nourishing, genuine, and boundless in her compassion. But she's also capable, more so than I ever expected a modern provider to be. She has renewed my faith in both humanity and in modern medicine. Thank you Dr Henderson, for everything. Thank you.
Also, I wanted a family care doctor. Well Dr. Henderson is one but it turns out she is an addiction specialist too. This made me uneasy just because of some of the clientele in there. As I was registering there were forms in my packet that were about substance abuse and were not at all applicable to me.
I personally did not get to see Dr. Henderson but I did have the unpleasant experience of dealing with the office administration. I scheduled my appointment 3 1/2 weeks before I was supposed to be seen through Humana's website. I called Humana and the doctor's office and when I spoke to both they said they accepted the insurance I had.
I had a wonderful experience here and I think it's extremely rude for people to give her a low rating for trying to help people with addictions. Its judgemental and low class. As far as the decor of her office, it's not the best but I am not paying for a fancy lobby, I'm paying to be seen by someone who knows what they're doing and treats their patients well. I didn't see Dr. Henderson personally but Jennifer is absolutely wonderful.
The lobby and office is disgusting. It looks dirty and outdated. I hope Dr. Henderson's medical skills are fantastic because the atmosphere and receptionist are not.
