Overall, the staff was nice, but my main complaint is that I woke up from my procedure and I started sneezing. I sneezed four times in a roll. I then stated out loud that I had a cold. The nurse in room stated no, you don't. Waiting for my husband to arrive, I continued to sneeze and my nose was running. I didn't have a cold when I got there and I didn't have one when I was wheeled into the operating room. I believe this cold and I hope that's all it is, came from that air tube that one of those women put around my face and up my nose. I feel like this virus was deliberately given to me because she removed it soon after she had put it on. Next, my doctor didn't stop by and tell me how the procedure had went. With people being the way they are nowadays, I don't trust anyone to do the right thing. The devil in everywhere and I have had mean, unprofessional, hateful nurses at other places. BEWARE, they are out there.
Worst hospital I ever been too. Hospital was very dirty and some but not all staff were rude and paying more attention to the tv being on in the room then how the patient is feeling. Wouldn't recommend if it was the last hospital on earth. Not to mention the nurse left the blue strip used to take blood on my man arm.
It is the worst hospital ever. Do not waist your time going to this hospital. Every time I go they keep me waiting and waiting for ever. Last time I went there I had chest pain and hard to breath. They kept me wait from 11:50 AM till 3pm. At the end I felt tired of waiting and left to other hospital. My advice don't go to this hospital even in emergency cuz no body cares.
I really don't know why people expect to be treated like a king when going to the hospital. You do know there are other patients than you Right? People do have bad days. My husband had to spend the night once due to a big seizure and they were very professional. Even let me stay the night with him while he was in intensive care even tho no one is suppose too. Really shocked when people expect to be seen right away in a er like they are the only ones with a problem and deserve higher priority than others. The only time that is acceptable is when your life is on the line. As far as the worst hospital out here that would be the veteran affairs hospital. They mistreated my dad from day 1 till the day he died. Imo st Mary's is a nice hospital. I will be visiting them in a couple of days for my belly issue and will write another review then.
After coming out of a sedative, I asked the nurse what she was doing. She said, “giving you a shot of phenergen. I quickly stopped her cause after being taken to 4 different rooms for tests, and having told them 4 times that I was allergic to phenergen I could not believe my ears. Fortunately, I guess it was not enough to cause a reaction I usually get. Thank God for that. But, after another bad trip to that hospital at a later time, I choose never to go there again. I've chosen Suburban instead, where I always get the treatment I deserve.
