When I refused to give my number, she became agitated (shown by an arm flailing tic of some sort) while angrily belching "well that's how we ring it up!" I was weak and allowed this to anger me and so I stormed out of the store – I didn’t handle this well. I wish I'd been cool enough to show understanding for the convenience that phone numbers can offer to her workflow. I also wish she had been cool enough to respect my reluctance to share it by just using my name to locate me in her database as I’d politely requested. I share my phone number with who I want and where necessary, a freedom I shouldn’t need to recite.
Now, I understand that people experience personal challenges which can impact their performance. I can sometimes sense this and simply ignore the bad behavior. However, this was just over-the top. Such ugly, childish behavior in response to a polite refusal to share non-essential information for a one-minute transaction. Just utterly unnecessary and even surprising in the face of me sharing my name, a legitimate alternative requiring only milliseconds longer to type.

Family run business that not only provides an excellent service, but cares about their customers. Have been using them for nearly 15 years. On the extremely rare occasion there has been an issue, Mike and his team rectified it promptly.
I've been going to Holiday Cleaners for the past 5 years. I am always pleased with the quality and customer service. Now that I have moved to Germantown I still make the trip to have my clothes dry cleaned by them. As long as they continue to treat me the way they have I will keep coming back. Always smiling faces.
In the future, I'll think twice about interacting with women who resemble battered, damaged, rusty old antiquated, battleships leaking pollutants as they float in the scrap yard (tantamount to one’s dependence on life support devices) awaiting recycling. I’ve found that their demeanor is almost always as ugly.
Thank you for your services.
Used them a couple years ago and will never be back even though they are the closest cleaners/laundry to where I live. Brought in 8 mens dress shirts to launder and apparently it was an overwhelming quantity to have done in a normal turnaround time. I did not ask for nor require a Rush order. The clerk asked me if I would consider 2 different pickup dates! Obviously my answer was no! Not what you wish to hear for a simple order. The quality was only fair, and the pricing also higher than average. My suggestion: if you live in this area, use Plaza Cleaners at the corner of Hurstbourne and Westport. I usually bring 20 to 30 shirts at a time and they do not blink an eye. Very friendly personalized service, fair price and outstanding quality.
I have used them for both regular dry cleaning and extreme specialty items like my kilt and they come through consistently every time. They clean the clothes in house versus sending them out to a central cleaning facility and that is what really sets them apart. Excellent service and cleaning consistently every time.
I walked into this place to encounter a post-wall shrew working behind the counter who badgered me for my phone number instead accepting my name to locate me in the customer database.
