The salesman Tom Kennedy was polite to myself and my wife and by no means was he "hounding" me. There was a mistake that was made and he was quick to correct the mistake. He was honest and straight up about said mistake. This did not deter me from buying the vehicle that I was interested in. This was my first purchase from Bachman Auto Group and my opinion is high of them. I actually purchased the vehicle that I wanted for a few thousand dollars cheaper than I could have anywhere else. I am very satisfied with their service.
My wife and I driving from our PA home to visit family in Memphis when my Passat's brake pad sensor warning light appeared. We were spending the night in Louisville and, based on other reviews, called Bachman to ask if they could check the brakes. They gave me a 9:30 am appointment and said there would be no charge for the inspection. The results indicated the brakes were in "yellow" condition, meaning the pads did not need immediate replacement but should be replaced soon. Paul, our Service advisor, provided the cost to do the work, but said we should be able to complete our trip safely if we wanted the work done when we returned home. We opted to continue our trip rather than wait for the three hours needed to complete the job. Paul cheerfully accepted our decision and had the car put back together so we could continue on our way. Overall a great experience, and we appreciated the pieces of chocolate Candy gave us on checkout.
By far the best car buying experience ever. I described exactly what I wanted in my new vehicle and my price range expectations. The delivery was completely on point. I've been waiting since 1986 to purchase another GTI. Dream come true! I've been in retail for 43 years. The art of good salesmanship and the discipline of good customer service has almost vanished. I have been to all the Volkswagen dealership's in and around Louisville. I also tried reaching other dealers in Ohio and Indiana. I have to tell you people at Bachman will go an extra mile to get what you want. Coming to my purchase of GTI, I was more specific about the color and Spec and trim Thane (Salesman ) from initial visit to the dealership was so helpful and found the car I want. There were only two cars in whole US. Thane got the one for me. I'm really thankful to you Thane and would definitely come back.
