I am disappointed because i never got a call back to buy the vehicle i wanted. Finally i decided to call another dealer. Mercedes Benz of Knoxville, these people are professional. They contacted me very fast and found me the vehicle i wanted. I recommend that you call Mercedes Benz of Knoxville and question for Todd Ozias. He a person that is very professional. I don't recommend Tafel of Louisville.
This is the most wonderful place in the world to buy a car and I know it because I travel a lot to many countries. Being a Sales and marketing specialist / consultant / teacher I could appreciate in deep all the work of this team.

Service staff is incredible, ask for George! Sales staff is nice but twice in the last 6 weeks I've tried to buy a car there and have not been able to reach a deal and bought both vehicles somewhere somewhere

We traveled by plane to Louisville and were picked up by the so nice Lisa. Only that smile and that customer attention was already surprisingly amazing. From that point on everything was from better to simply fenomenal. Miller, the Sales director was simply the best customer attention salesman I have ever met. The lady at the front reception explained me the features of the car in such a way that we really felt at home. Then Jeff, the financial director who made all the efforts to get us the right financing for the car. When we talked to him we saw that really positive and warmfull behavior is everywhere at Tafel Motors. Everyone is absolutely astonishingly nice. In a 1 to 10 scale, well sorry but we cannot give you less than 1000!!!!

I was traveling through Ohio when my check engine light came on. The nearest authorized Mercedes Benz dealership was Tafel Motors. I called and informed the staff that I was about an hour and a half away and asked if they had an openings. The receptionist said "that will work out perfectly. Jimmy will be returning from his lunch at that time and will be able to assist you." I asked what the fee was to diagnose the problem and was informed it was $140. When I arrived to the dealership I told Jimmy that the check engine light had came on as I was accelerating to get on the interstate. I gave him my information and had a seat in the waiting room as instructed. 3 hours later I had not been given a single update as to what was going on with my car. When I walked to the desk to ask if they had found any issues, the staff was rude and informed me "you'll just have to hang tight." After 4 hours, I was told that the fuel pump needed replacing, but that they did not carry the part. Jimmy offered to order it for me, but informed me that it would take a couple of days to come in, and I was still several hours from my home. I told him that since he would not be able to replace the part for a couple of days, I just wanted to take my car to my hometown dealership the next day. After this point, it took staff an additional 45 minutes to return my car keys to me. When I received my bill, I had been charged the $140 diagnosis fee which I had asked about, but I had also been charged $130 in labor. I was charged $130 for labor when they were unable to fix anything that was wrong with my car. When I asked why I was charged labor, I was told "fuel pumps aren't the easiest problem to diagnose." I am extremely dissatisfied with the amount of money I was charged and the amount of time I wasted only to be told that they did not stock the part that I needed to fix my car. If I ever have any car problems near Louisville in the future, I will be calling my home dealership in Carbondale, IL instead of wasting my time and money at Tafel Motors.
I bought a 7 years old Mercedes S65 AMG from them. It was all done by phone and e-mail. I never ever thought I was buying such a magnificent car. The car was completely detailed, revised by Mercedes experts and it really looks and runs just like new.
Kareem and Jeff were an AMAZING team with helping my cousin get her new G Wagon this weekend! We were in and out within a couple hours and they treated us like gold! We were like family by the time we left. Amy was also great teaching us how to operate it even though we forgot her instructions almost immediately! Lol! Awesome business and awesome people that work there. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR THEM BY NAME!
