This was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. I called earlier in the day to confirm the Tesla model S would be available to test drive. Show up and the gentleman asks if I was the one who called about the car (so clearly it was known in the dealership there was a potential buyer coming in.) We get in the car and he knows literally nothing about this $130,000 car. Didn’t care to know, and could care less. When I say he knew nothing I mean NOTHING. Didn’t know how to work the radio, said it had auto piolet features (it did not) also mentioned they aren’t making that model anymore (I can go on the website now and order the exact model.) They ask if I would be trading in and offered me an insulting amount for my current vehicles. (40% of blue book value. This may be normal but is not based on my last encounter 2 years ago.) When I left he hands me a bent business card with a previous potential buyers phone number writen on it and just told me to ignore that. I’ll never step foot on that lot again.
My first experience with Bluegrass Motorsport was definitely a pleasant one. The entire staff was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Mr. John Dayton, my sales consultant, was especially helpful and made my Wife and I very comfortable with the purchasing experience.
