Great place to stay in Louisville. The staff were friendly and accommodating to requests. 8up for breakfast was excellent as well with a very attentive waitress.
Great hotel. Updated decor. Restaurant had excellent menu for late arrival. Easy check-in and checkout. Beds were super comfortable. Would suggest this to all my friends. Only distraction was the cars going up/down across a metal grid in the parking garage next door outside our window. Became used to it over time.
The room was very clean, and neat. It had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker which made it very convenient. The bathroom was large and well lit, with a handy hairdryer! The air worked great, and the beds we're very comfortable! The restaurant upstairs was delicious, with a large selection of drinks. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again.
Terrible sleeping experience due to outside elements. Nearby movie theater had an event which apparently required two groupie party buses. These were parked right outside my hotel room window, located on the fifth floor. Another uncontrollable element for the hotel was a large metal grate in the middle of the main road. Thump thump, thump thump, thump thump. This is what I heard after every car drive by, all night long. This metal grate was apparently just installed by the City of Louisville and the hotel management was not happy. The takeaway here, if choosing to stay at this hotel, is to make sure that your hotel room is located away from the exterior walls. I was able to change my room on the last night of my four night stay. The upside is that I slept much better but the downside was my TV did not work right, locked on only one channel. If at all possible, I will not stay at this hotel ever again.
Had a very great experience. Room was clean n cozy. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was beautiful and very well kept. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to others.
