The bar is open and inviting, with good service. A Starbucks is located within the hotel but has limited hours.
The Marriott in Downtown Louisville is a wonderful hotel. It is located just minutes away from many of Louisville's most popular attractions, which provides guests with easy access to great food, entertainment, and history. The rooms are clean, modern, and promote a comfortable stay. The service we received from all employees was exemplary. We will be returning in the near future.
5th year staying here for a convention. The staff is always fantastic. The hotel seems to be undergoing a much needed renovation and the usual restaurant/bar downstairs is currently closed. A full sized Starbucks is conveniently located in the lobby with a line gathered every morning. Awesome workout facilities. The parking garage is a bit narrow and always full. All in all it is always a good experience for us.
The restaurant while being listed as Italian, changed to American. The salads and meals enjoyed by my friends and myself were exceptional. Service was very good and the meal was fairly priced.
An older Marriott undergoing a refresh. Not bad, but not stellar. Older fixtures in rooms. Decor is a bit tired. Great staff; very friendly and helpful. Full-sized Starbucks in the lobby, but slow service. Meeting rooms were fine, and food at our conference was excellent. Ask for a view of the river and the Yum! Center...the backside of the hotel does not look out over anything pleasant other than a building with Diane Sawyer's face on a banner and an Omni they are building next door.
Very nice hotel. The lobby is large and bright. The staff at the Downtown Marriott are friendly and extremely helpful.
I came here for a Christian Conference, and the hotel was a great venue. The ballrooms we met it were clean and classy. The hotel is very close to restaurants downtown, and the rooms were typical, but nice. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating for our group.
