Had great visit just needed to get away for night very relaxing time and the breakfast donuts are to die for.
This motel is not even worth one star. Filthy carpet, dirty bed linens, bathroom fixtures in need of repair, and whole place should not be in the Choice Chain at all. Have stayed at Rodeway Inn Boston, and Ludington, Mi. which were acceptable. This motel was a shock for its location near all attractions in Louisville.
horrible experience, me and my boyfriend stayed there last winter quite a few times, service okay, we stayed there about 2 days ago, we were told on the phone that the room would be 68 dollars with a AAA discount, but when we got there the night shift was on duty and he had no clue how to do this discount! And he wasnt going to try to find out either! With it being so late, we went ahead and got the room, we decided that we would talk to someone in the am about get money back on AAA discount, in the morning when checking out we were told they were out of cash and could not give us our 20 dollar deposit or the AAA discount, i talked to the morning clerk there and she said she would discount our next room, and actually double discount it, since it would be another stay, when arriving to the hotel the next night, the night shift clerk had no documentation of the discount, so she double checked for us, when coming back to us, we were told we were put on the do not rent to list, when i asked why, we were told the bed spreads were stolen by us, i said if we stole the bed spreads do you think we would try to rent a room the next night, she said sorry! that it sorry!! we did not steal bed spreads! So think twice if you stay there, unless you want to be labeled a theif, and get screwed out of your money!!
The room smelled like smoke though it was non smoking. It had cigarette burns in the bed spread and carpet. It was decent enough for an inexpensive nights stay. Breakfast was cereal, fruit, donuts, and juice.
Decent place to stay. No complaints other than no mini fridge or no microwave.
