I drove all the way from the DSW on Summit Plaza because the shoe I wanted was only in stock in Shelbyville Rd. Unfortunately, the thread was coming off the shoe which was the only size in stock. A slightly heavier women was called to the cashier and she explained to me that she couldn't take any discount off but offered to cut the thread off for me instead. Even though I tried to explain to her that I drove almost 20 minutes for that shoe she still insisted on cutting off the thread for me but would not take off any discount because if wasn't worn. I don't understand how a store that sells new shoes would ever have a shoe that's worn. I bought the shoe anyway to make up for my time. But the service at the summit store is much better.
Had a fairly large selection of women's sandals, high heels & athletic shoes. Not much in the accessories or handbags. Designer brands were kinda limited; Jessica Simpson, Steve Madden, Chinese Laundry & BCBG among the top dress/evening wear designer brands they carried. But overall, if you're looking for women's current sandals, wedges, pumps, etc, it's a definite good place to check out. I found what I needed there, and for under $50, so I was very satisfied with that!
Can usually find shoes that I like here. In fact a bit too many shoes I like..lol
This is a nice store, but the selections are not as good as the DSW I love in Livingston,NJ. Near my office in East Hanover and has great shoes, bags and tons of cool accessories. Same staff served me every time I have been there and are very helpful. Nine pairs later in one month, I cannot wait to go back. Wish my Louisville store was as well stocked.
