What an amazing service. We lost our Dog Haley after 14 wonderful years and Hearts Ease made it as bearable as possible. They came to the house where Haley was most comfortable and were compassionate, loving and caring. I would strongly recommend them.
For the unimaginable day that comes for all pet owners, I couldn't imagine having done it without Dr. Cook. There are no words to describe how wonderful our experience with Dr. Cook was. We called Heart's Ease in an emergency situation and they moved appointments around so we were able to be seen in the same day. Dr. Cook is the most soft spoken, gracious, and knowledgeable vet we have ever had the pleasure to work with. We never felt pushed or rushed, we only felt compassion. When he came to our house, we were expecting the worst. Instead, Dr. Cook explained all of the options we have available to us (we thought euthanasia was the only option at this point)... he gave us more than options, he gave us hope. And he gave us more time with our precious Beagle, Odie. Odie was able to pass away peacefully at home because of Heart's Ease and Dr. Cook. There are no words to convey the peace of mind and peace of spirit they were able to give us during this difficult time. We are forever grateful.

I am a vet tech who came to Louisville to euthanize my childhood dog who lived with my mother. Dr Bennett was so compassionate, professional, and understanding. She explained everything to my family, and listened to us as we shared our stories. She showed nothing but respect and love towards my sweet dog.
